- Workshop on Racism:On November 13, 2007, the Congress of Black Women organized a workshop to openly discuss the issue of racism in our communities. - Kwanzaa: Annual celebration of African Heritage each December for many years, last held in 2011 at the Carribean Cultural Centre.
